Gallery of Awesome!

In some of my wanderings, I always run across the wonderful avatar of "Artist" running across their heads and I always stop to say hello and ask them for an opportunity to see their work. Francis was no exception. He stood out in the crowd looking a great deal like a very youthful and vivacious "Mad Hatter" from Alice in Wonderland. I couldn't help but invite him back to the studio for a quick photo shoot in which both he and myself went through another Virtual Props and Poses pose set looking for hidden poses.  Mykala has always been known to be right up front but there are times I enjoy her sense of secrecy and it's fun to look at her work...

I digress....

Francis also took me back to his "Gallery of Awesome." A four story glass building that held not only his work, but the work of others from all over the world. A FREE gallery... (boy watch everyone jump on that one!) in which he invites everyone to use to hang their work, and I was flattered when he cleared a wall for me on the 4th floor of the gallery allowing me to hang and sell a few pieces of art. I put in a few of the random frame rotating images but then also put some of my other items up for sale.  I was just honored to have a chance to meet Francis and his quirkiness. I enjoyed his company very much.

Yesterday it was interrupted, but we went bouncing from a few sims that were colorful, bright and most of all great places to go and sit and take pictures all day long at.  I truly enjoyed the idea of going back, including an underwater area that I am REALLY wanting to return to. It had some amazing sea life and hope that I might find a Merman or Mermaid or two to catch on film.

A little Island!

Over the course of the last few months, I have found myself bounced around like a kernal in a popcorn machine, mostly due to the nomadic nature of real estate in Second Life. However, I am hoping (crosses fingers) that this is the last time that that will happen.

New Book: White Wedding

A new book has been done and right now is NOT for sale and can only be seen here for the first time. Thanks to the model (who shall remain nameless) and her generous time for making some of this one of the more exciting and fun photography shoots I have done in a long time. Her good nature added to the event and her twisted sense of humor made me get down and dirty with it all. Don't let the title fool you!

Demon.. love?

After many hits and misses, I have been finally given the chance to connect with a wonderful European man who has quite the interesting avatar, bringing a new challenge all it's own.

~Click~ photography props inspired this shoot and I can't thank the builder enough for also contributing more of his props to my vastly growing inventory of photography elements in SecondLife.

A Return

This series was inspired by the return of a passion by two very close and dear friends of mine. Their passion has far extended the boundaries of time and of cyber space.

To them both, I have enjoyed your company, your continued support, your inspiration and over all, the love that you both share with the world around you.  I hope that I might be inspired further and deeper from whatever levels you may offer.

New Images

I haven't been very good about keeping things up to date here, but felt that it was time to update some of my readers about some of my escapades in SecondLife.

The gallery has grown... someone fed it some major growth hormones and poof!  It grew huge.  Its now capable of hosting and exhibiting my work as well as several other artists.  I have a new artist in there already so hoping to see some more excellent artists in SecondLife to come and join me in the gallery.  It's free and all I ask is that it keep in tune with the theme and thought process of the Designs of Mysteri Gallery and Photography element. 

On the otherside of the SIM you will see that some major work has taken place.  White Rose Sanctuary has found home to our SIM as well and for that, I am thankful.  White Rose is a D/s Sanctuary and school for those who need a place to recover and/or learn more about the lifestyle.  Whether you are new, or old, curious or experienced, we invite you to come and join us on discussions and even offer to volunteer to hold your own discussions.  Our schedule is just now building so please come and let us know if you are interested!

For now, I have yet to update the Flickr Slideshow, and now that I know I am able to exhibit artistic nudes in Flickr, I am hoping to be able to exhibit a few more here on the site.  Watch for the updates coming soon!
