Tempest Imagery is back open!

After many years of being AWOL, I have decided to hand over Tempest Imagery and it's reputation to a very talented woman named Nyghtmaer Atua.  She and the Chippendales have been gracious to give us (Nyghtmaer and I) enough space to open the studio once again and because of that, we are severely discounting the packages that you buy (not counting the wedding package) by 50%.  Please contact us directly and do not purchase a package or gift certificate as they will not include the 50% discount.  YOU MUST contact either myself or Nyghtmaer via a Notecard and or offline (although we highly recommend you send us the NC for tracking purposes. We look forward to producing some amazing pictures and watching the word grow in front of you!

New Book: White Wedding

A new book has been done and right now is NOT for sale and can only be seen here for the first time. Thanks to the model (who shall remain nameless) and her generous time for making some of this one of the more exciting and fun photography shoots I have done in a long time. Her good nature added to the event and her twisted sense of humor made me get down and dirty with it all. Don't let the title fool you!

Don't forget, you can have one of these done for you customized and more. Interested in doing one for a loved one? Put together a  portfolio?  Drop me a line and discuss the details in world or email me directly.

The prop and pose is made by Virtual Props and Poses! Again an amazing sense of imagination from Mikahaila.

Anchors Away

These were simplistic and fun nudes that took a very artistic turn for me as I played with shadows.  I did these with my mind on all the service men and women I know in my RL as a way to show them that not all is ugly in this time.

Second Life Creativity

I am always exploring the creativity of others within SecondLife.  There are so many elements in which you can create and yet, there always seems to be a collaboration of efforts.  With builders, most build but use texture artists to help their 'block' become 'buldings' and then in turn, those builders sometimes requires scripts to make their now 'buildings' come to life.

Everyone in SecondLife finds their strength and within that strength is always a hidden gem.  Mykala from Virtual Props and Poses is a favorite gem of mine.  I joined her VIP group long ago and found that not much activity was taking place, but when real life stepped to the side and the muse bit Mykala, she exploded and now, her shops are booming with all types of poses, props and so much more.

Her creativity is limitless and for that, I must thank her.  For many of her props and poses are used in my shots and ultimately, she is the builder behind the artist in Second Life for many of my shots that have been shared between clients and in my coffee table books.

If it weren't for Virtual Props and Poses... I think I would be struggling to get that 'look' that I picture and without that look... well, it just isn't art!

Please, check out her work and visit her site at: http://virtualpropsandposes.wordpress.com/

Lady Astartie

I have had the privilege of meeting some really amazing people in SecondLife and Lady Astartie is no exception.  Her talents and emotion show so deeply in her work that I couldn't help but bring her work into my gallery and give her the challenge of doing a shoot of me for a change.  She readily accepted and to my amazement, her perfection and abilities are astonishing... considering her "abilities" in real life.

In real life she suffers from a debilitating disease. One of which I have seen inflict many who have amazing eyes for art.  One such person who was so inspiring to me was Karen Wheeler but in meeting Astartie in world under different circumstances, I found her just as inspiring as I did Karen.  Each of them over coming some major obstacles in life to produce some amazing and beautiful images that I will cherish for years.

I will be uploading the images that Astartie produced of myself, but I thought I would share the images I did of the beautiful Lady in all her splendor as well.

Demon.. love?

After many hits and misses, I have been finally given the chance to connect with a wonderful European man who has quite the interesting avatar, bringing a new challenge all it's own.

~Click~ photography props inspired this shoot and I can't thank the builder enough for also contributing more of his props to my vastly growing inventory of photography elements in SecondLife.

There will be more images coming soon, but for now, enjoy "Demon... love?"

As Promised: Mommy N Me

I have been failing to update as regularly as I would like to, but thought you all might like to see some of the new images.

These "Mommy n Me" were inspired by a real life element that I have participated in in my art.  I hope you enjoy!

New Images

I haven't been very good about keeping things up to date here, but felt that it was time to update some of my readers about some of my escapades in SecondLife.

The gallery has grown... someone fed it some major growth hormones and poof!  It grew huge.  Its now capable of hosting and exhibiting my work as well as several other artists.  I have a new artist in there already so hoping to see some more excellent artists in SecondLife to come and join me in the gallery.  It's free and all I ask is that it keep in tune with the theme and thought process of the Designs of Mysteri Gallery and Photography element.

On the otherside of the SIM you will see that some major work has taken place.  White Rose Sanctuary has found home to our SIM as well and for that, I am thankful.  White Rose is a D/s Sanctuary and school for those who need a place to recover and/or learn more about the lifestyle.  Whether you are new, or old, curious or experienced, we invite you to come and join us on discussions and even offer to volunteer to hold your own discussions.  Our schedule is just now building so please come and let us know if you are interested!

For now, I have yet to update the Flickr Slideshow, and now that I know I am able to exhibit artistic nudes in Flickr, I am hoping to be able to exhibit a few more here on the site.  Watch for the updates coming soon!

New Jewelry Store

I always enjoy watching friends in SL in their talents. One of them that I find fascinating is the making of jewelry. Some of it is so delicate and tiny that it I am fascinated by the detail that they can come up with.

Well CherryMia Mint is truly one of those friends who has finally has opened her own store and in it is some amazing craftmanship.

Please visit her at: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Telos%20Prime/208/190/1999

Her Grand Opening is today and she is offering prizes and gifts to all those who visit her store.

Her creations are amazing and truly dazzling and tasteful. Even going to have her make one of her chokes scripted with my HUD for a formal collar. I think many will follow in these footsteps!
